Penelitian ini bermaksud menjawab hipotesis terkait hubungan antara kematangan emosi dengan kematangan karir. penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan korelasi. subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas xi di sma frater don bosco tarakan. teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 36 siswa. pengambilan data menggunakan dua skala penelitian yaitu skala kematangan emosi terdiri dari 29 item valid dan skala kematangan karir terdiri dari 27 item valid yang sudah diuji cobakan pada 24 siswa kelas xi sma frater don bosco tarakan. hasil analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis uji normalitas dengan teknik kolmogrov sminov test pada aplikasi imb spss (statistical package for the social sciences) versi 20.0 for windows, menunjukkan data berdistribusi normal diketahui nilai signifikansi 0,539 > 0,05 dan uji linearitas dilakukan dengan metode deviation from linearity pada aplikasi ibm spss (statistical package for the social sciences) versi 20.0 for windows, menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang linear dengan nilai 0,551 > 0,05, dan uji korelasi product moment dibantu aplikasi imb spss (statistical package for the social sciences) versi 20.0 for windows, diketahui besarnya angka korelasi pada pearson correlation 0,266 menunjukkan bahwa kriteria kekuatan hubungan antara variabel kematangan emosi dengan kematangan karir adalah lemah atau rendah, sedangkan nilai sig sebesar 0,116 > 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kematangan emosi dengan kematangan karir. kata kunci: kematangan emosi, kematangan karir

The present research intended to answer the hypothesis relating to the relationship between emotional maturity and career maturity. this research employed a quantitative type of research using a correlational approach. the participants were the students of class xi of sma frater don bosco tarakan by using a purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 36 students. the data were collected by using two research scales, namely, the emotional maturity scale consisting of 29 valid items and the career maturity scale consisting of 27 valid items that were tested on 24 students from class xi of sma frater don bosco tarakan. the data analysis was done by using the imb spss (statistical package for the social sciences) version 20.0 for windows. the results of data analysis using the normality test analysis technique with the kolmogorov smirnov test showed that the data were in normal distribution proven by the significance value which was 0.539 > 0.05 and the linearity test by using the deviation from linearity method showed that there was a linear relationship with a value of 0.551 > 0.05. the product-moment correlation test was known by the coefficient of pearson correlation 0.266 which implied that the strength criteria of the relationship between emotional maturity and career maturity was weak or low, while the sig. value which was 0.116 > 0.05 indicated that there was no significant relationship between emotional maturity and career maturity. keywords: emotional maturity, career maturity
