Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh layanan informasi sebagai tindakan pencegahan terhadap konflik interpersonal peserta didik kelas viii smp negeri 2 tarakan tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pre-experimental design dengan bentuk one group pretest-posttest design. populasi dalam penelitian yaitu 305 peserta didik dan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 30 peserta didik kelas viii smp negeri 2 tarakan. metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan skala konflik interpersonal dengan skala likert. penelitian ini menggunakan rumus product moment untuk uji validitas skala konflik interpersonal dengan hasil dari 51 butir pernyataan terdapat 25 butir yang valid. teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik statistic deskriptif dan statistic inferensial dikorelasikan menggunakan program spss 22 for windows. berdasarkan hasil penelitian sebelum dan sesudah pemberian perlakuan, diperoleh hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung sebesar 19,709 sementara ttable dengan db n-1 = 29 dan taraf siginifikan 5% (0,05) sebesar 2,045. berdasarkan hasil pengelolaan t-test dengan menggunakan spss 22 for windows menunjukkan thitung ttabel maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh layanan informasi sebagai tindakan pencegahan terhadap konflik interpersonal peserta didik kelas viii smp negeri 2 tarakan tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. kata kunci: layanan informasi, konflik interpersonal

The purpose this research is to know the effect of center information as preventive measure against the interpersonal conflict at grade viii junior high school 2 tarakan, school year 2015/2016. this type of research is pre-experimental design research with form one group pretest-posttest design. population in this research is 305 student and the sample in this to form one group pretest-posttest design. the population is 305 student and sample in this research is 30 student grade viii junior high school 2 tarakan. method of collecting data in this research using the scale of conflict interpersonal with likert scale. this research using product moment to test the validity of the scale interpersonal conflict with results of the 51 points declarations contained 25 points is valid. analysis techniques in this research is descriptive statistic techniques and inferensial statistics correlated using spss 22 program for windows. from the results of research before and after the treatment, obtained calculation results of hypothesis testing obtained thitung of 19,709 while ttabel with db n-1 = 29 and signifikasn taraf 5% (0,05) of 2,045. from the results of management t-test with using spss 22 for windows showing thitung > ttabel it can be concluded that there is the effect of center information as preventive measure against the interpersonal conflict at grade viii junior high school 2 tarakan, school year 2015/2016. key words: center information, conflict interpersonal
