Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik sosiodrama berpengaruh terhadap kepercayaan diri siswa kelas viii smp negeri 4 tarakan. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh penggunaan teknik sosiodrama terhadap kepercayaan diri siswa kelas viii smp negeri 4 tarakan. hipotesis penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh penggunaan teknik sosiodrama dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa kelas viii smp negeri 4 tarakan. pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan eksperimen dengan jenis penelitian one group pretest-posttest design, yang terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu teknik sosiodrama (x) dan kepercayaan diri siswa sebagai variabel terikat (y). penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas viii di smp negeri 4 tarakan dengan sampel sebanyak 32 siswa dari 9 kelas. teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket yang berperan sebagai metode pokok. teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik statistik, yaitu statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial, kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan program spss 16.0. hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa thitung (18,983) > ttabel (1,697). berarti ada pengaruh teknik sosiodrama terhadap kepercayaan diri siswa di smp negeri 4 tarakan. kata kunci: teknik sosiodrama, kepercayaan diri siswa

Formulation of the problem in this research is sociodramas techniques affect the confidence of eighth grade students of smp negeri 4 tarakan. this study aims to determine whether there is any effect of the use of the confidence sociodramas techniques eighth grade students of smp negeri 4 tarakan. the hypothesis of this study was effect of the use of the sociodramas technique in improving self confidence eighth grade students of smp negeri 4 tarakan. the approach used is the experimental approach to the type of research one group pretest-posttest design, which consists of two variables: sociodramas technique (x) and self confidence as the dependent variable (y). this research was conducted at the eighth grade students in junior high school 4 tarakan with a sample of 32 students from 9 grade. the data collection technique used was a questionnaire which serves as the principal method. techniques of data analysis in this study is a statistical technique, namely the descriptive statistics and inferential statistics and then analyzed using spss 16.0 program. the analysis showed that thitung (18,983) > ttabel (1,697). means there is influence sociodramas technique of self confidence students at smp negeri 4 tarakan. keywords: sociodramas technique, self confidence
