Pengaruh Induksi Super Gib Terhadap Produktivitas Dua Varietas Cabai Besar (Capsicum annum L.)

Abstrak Indonesia

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian super gib terhadap gugurnya bunga dan peningkatan produksi dua varietas cabai besar (capsicum annum l.) penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada bulan februari hingga september 2015 di greenhouse dan laboratorium fisiologi tumbuhan fakultas pertanian universitas borneo tarakan, kalimantan utara. penelitian ini menggunakan metode rancangan acak kelompok (rak), dengan dua faktor perlakuan yaitu: faktor i : induksi super gib (g) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu: g0 = 0 ppm; g1 = 30 ppm; g2 = 60 ppm; g3 = 120 ppm; g4 = 240 ppm , dan faktor ii : varietas (v) yang terdiri dari 2 varietas, yaitu: v1 = pilar f1; v2 = arimbi. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi serangan hama dan penyakit sehingga hasil data percobaan yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan anova dan uji bnt 5% diketahui bahwa semakin tinggi konsentrasi perlakuan super gib yang diberikan maka semakin tinggi pula gugur bunga, jumlah buah, dan bobot buah per tanaman begitu juga sebaliknya. akan tetapi, peningkatan perlakuan super gib membuat umur terbentuknya bunga dan buah semakin lama. pada konsentrasi rendah (30 ppm) pemberian super gib dapat mempercepat umur terbentuknya bunga dan buah serta menurunkan jumlah bunga, jumlah buah, bobot buah per tanaman dan jumlah biji tanaman cabai besar. kata kunci: super gib, cabai besar, gugur bunga, produksi

Abstrak Indonesia

This research was aimed to find out the influence of the given of super gib towards the fall of flowers and the productivity increase of two varieties of large chilies (capsicum annum l.). this research was conducted on february to september 2015 in the greenhouse and laboratory of plants physiology of the agriculture faculty of borneo university of tarakan, north kalimantan. this research used random group design with two treatment factors, which were: factors i: super gib induction (g) which consisted of 4 degress, that were: g0= 0 ppm, g1 = 30 ppm, g2 = 60 ppm, g3 = 120 ppm, g4 = 240 ppm; and factors ii : variety (v) which consisted of 2 varieties, which were: v1= pilar f1, v2 = arimbi. the results of the study showed that there were pest infection and plant disease so that the results of the research data which were obtained by using anova and test of bnt 5% was found out that the higher the concentration of super gib treatment given, the higher the fall of flowers, fruit quantity and weight per plant would be and vice versa. however the increase of super gib treatment made the age of the flower and fruit formation went slower. at low concentration (30 ppm), the given of super gib could fasten the formation of flower and fruit and also decreased the amount of flowers, the amount of fruits, fruits weight per plant and the amount of seeds in large chili plants. keywords: super gib, large chili, fall of flowers, production
