Pantai amal merupakan satu dari obyek wisata yang terletak di kelurahan pantai amal, kecamatan tarakan timur, kota tarakan, kalimantan utara. pantai amal tidak termasuk pantai berpasir putih seperti pantai dibeberapa kawasan wisata. namun, memiliki pesona pariwisata yang layak untuk dikunjungi. tarif yang berlaku saat ini untuk menuju ke pantai amal sebesar rp.1.000,- masih sangat rendah jika dibandingkan tarif wisata lain. oleh karena itu, perlu diketahui instrinsik ekowisata secara ekonomi yang mendekati nilai sesungguhnya obyek wisata tersebut. untuk mengetahui nilai intrinsik dilakukan dengan melakukan penilaian besarnya nilai manfaat ekonomi rekreasi obyek wisata pantai amal dengan menggunakan pendekatan metode biaya perjalanan dan metode valuasi kontigensi. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap jumlah kunjungan di obyek wisata pantai amal kota tarakan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dan untuk mengetahui nilai ekonomi pantai amal dengan menggunakan metode biaya perjalanan individu dan metode valuasi kontigensi. sampel pada penelitian ini adalah pengunjung pantai amal dengan jumlah 60 orang. penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik kuota sampling. hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa hanya satu variabel yang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel jumlah kunjungan (y) yaitu variabel biaya perjalanan (x1) dengan signifikan (0,000) < (0,05) dengan koefisien sebesar -,000014087. surplus konsumen obyek wisata pantai amal sebesar 453.898,592 per individu per bulan dan 151.299,531 per individu tiap satu kali kunjungan, sehingga diperoleh nilai ekonomi total sebesar 2.314.882.819 per bulan. melalui pendekatan cvm diketahui nilai rata-rata wtp pengunjung pantai amal yaitu sebesar rp. 8.916,67/pengunjung dengan nilai total wtp (twtp) sebesar rp 27.285.000 per bulan. kata kunci: biaya perjalanan individu, pantai amal, kesediaan membayar

Amal beach is one of the tourist attraction located in the beach village amal, district tarakan eastern city of tarakan, borneo north. amal beach does not include white sandy beaches such as the beach in some tourist areas. however, it has the charm of tourism that are worth visiting. the current rate is to go to the amal coast of 1.000 is still very low when compared to other tourist fare. therefore, need to know the intrinsic economic ecotourism approaching the true value of these attractions. to determine the intrinsic value is done by assessing the value of the economic benefits of recreational beach tourism amal using travel cost method and contigent valuation method. this study is aimed to find out the factors affect the visitors number of amal beach in tarakan city by using doubled linier regression analysis to know the economic price of amal beach through an individual trevel cost method and contigent valuation method. the sampel of this study are 60 visitors of amal beach. the determination of sampling utilized quota sampling technique. the result of this study points that only one variable affects other number of visit (y) variable significantly. the detail is the variable of travel cost (x1) with significant 0,000 < 0,005 and coefficient is a month -,000014087. tourism consumer surplus of amal beach is a month 453.898,592 for individual a month and 151.299,531 for individual for every visit. so, the total number of economy is amount 2.134.882.819 a month. with this contigent valuation method approach, the conlution is the willingness to pay mean score of amal beach visitors is rp. 8.916,67/visitors with total of willingness to pay is a month rp. 27.285.000. keywords: individual travel cost, amal beach, willingness to pay
