Defisit perawatan diri merupakan permasalahan yang sering muncul pada pasien skizofrenia. pasien skizofrenia sering mengalami ketidakpedulian dalam merawat diri. keadaan ini merupakan gejala perilaku negatif dan menyebabkan pasien dikucilkan dan dijauhi oleh orang sekitar. tujuan penulisan laporan tugas akhir ini adalah mendapatkan gambaran pengalaman tentang penerapan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien skizofrenia dengan masalah utama defisit perawatan diri menggunakan pendekatan keperawatan komperhensif. metode penulisan ini menggunakan studi kasus dengan dua subjek dengan melakukan asuhan keperawatan pada dua pasien skizofrenia dengan defisit perawatan diri. hasil yang didapatkan terdapat tiga diagnosis keperawatan yang ditegakkan pada pasien 1 dan pasien 2, dengan dua diagnosis keperawatan yang sama yaitu defisit perawatan diri dan harga diri rendah. adapun diagnosis keperawatan yang berbeda pada pasien 1 dengan isolasi sosial dan pasien 2 dengan risiko perilaku kekerasan. pada pasien 1 masalah defisit perawatan diri belum teratasi, dan masalah isolasi sosial belum teratasi. sedangkan pada pasien 2 masalah defisit perawatan diri belum teratasi. berdasarkan literatur yang digunakan terdapat dua diagnosis keperawatan yang dapat ditegakkan pada pasien yaitu defisit perawatan diri dan harga diri rendah. intervensi yang dilakukan telah sejalan dengan teori. hasil dari penyusunan studi kasus ini masih diperlukan pembahasan lebih lanjut mengenai faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keberhasilan intervensi. kata kunci: asuhan keperawatan, defisit perawatan diri, skizofrenia

Self-care deficit is a problem that often arises in schizophrenia patients. schizophrenia patients often get a lack of motivation to engage in self-care activities. this situation is a symptom of negative behavior and causes the patient to be isolated and shunned by the surrounding people. the purpose of the research was to obtain an overview of the experience of applying nursing care to schizophrenic patients with the main problem of self-care deficits using a comprehensive nursing approach. this research method uses a case study with two subjects by providing nursing care to two schizophrenic patients with self-care deficits. the results obtained were three nursing diagnoses established in patient 1 and patient 2, with two of the same nursing diagnoses, namely self-care deficits and low self-esteem. different nursing diagnoses in patient 1 with social isolation and patient 2 with the risk of violent behavior. in the case of patient 1, the issues of self- care deficit and social isolation persist. it has been determined that patient 2 continues to demonstrate an unresolved deficit in self-care skills. a comprehensive review of the extant literature reveals the presence of two nursing diagnoses that can be identified in patients, namely self-care deficits and low self-esteem. the interventions implemented have been consistent with the theoretical framework. the results of the preparation of this case study still require further discussion of the factors that influence the success of the intervention. keywords: nursing care, self-care deficit, schizophrenia
